Google’s Nest Mini is another product from Google’s Nest Line-up. Released on October 22, 2019 this small speaker has been brightening up small rooms of college students and families for years and is still widely available. Hard to believe, but if you’ve never spoken to your speaker before “Hey Google” will activate this speaker then you can prompt this speaker to “play music” or “set alarm.”
The Latest Gen 2 model Google Nest Mini is available in four different colors: Chalk(white), Charcoal(black), Coral(red), and sky(light blue). It is available on Google’s website and Amazon, but you won’t have to wait to get your hands on one because most Best Buys, Target, or Walmart have them on stock. Take your time however, to check out the thousands of custom holders for it available on Amazon. Accessories for the Google Nest mini are completely optional and the Nest Mini would still look nice without it.
The Google Nest Mini is very compact and portable, however I enjoy giving it a home in a room and leaving is there to entertain whenever the feel for some ambiance arises. It nestles pretty much perfectly next to anything and only requires a bit of dusting from time to time. If you’re looking to blast music all day you might want to look into other loud-speakers, but if you just want to play music at an easy tolerable level, Then Google Nest Mini is plenty loud enough for most small rooms.
